My first child, Christina, was born premature, six weeks early. She weighed 4.10 and dropped to
4.6. I went home from the hospital without her and didn't get to bring her home for over a month. I was told I
could not breast feed her as I had so wanted to do. If I had only known then what I know now, my pregnancy, delivery
and healing would have been much different. When I became pregnant with my second child, Paul, I decided that this
time I was going to do it my way! I had Paul with no medication, no crisis and no trauma. Of course, I had no
complications either. Physical complications can alter everything. But, in a normal childbirth, delivery can
be every bit as breathtakingly miraculous as the creation of our world!
