The LifeStyle Connection
is a dynamic group of real women who come together to entertain, inspire and support each other. They enjoy the opportunity
to grow and help other women to grow. They share their talents to inspire, motivate and strengthen other women. This
is a group of women who have a common goal to be the best they can be...every day!
This is an auditioned group, but the audition is very
simple and is not intimidating. The goal for the audition is to see where you are today and find out how great is your
desire to be better tomorrow.
Ladies of The LifeStyle Connection will be able to sing,
but do not have to have a solo voice. They will have rhythm, but do not have to be an experienced dancer. They
will need to be able to speak from stage, but do not have to be a public speaker. They will need to be able to socialize
with ease when introduced to new acquaintences.
These ladies will either already have a polished look
or be willing to develop a polished look. There will be tremendous support for whatever you need to do to become the
lady you would like to be. All members of "The Lifestyle Connection" will recieve an Arts Center Membership for half
price. (Center Membership is not required to be a member of The LifeStyle Connection).
The goal of this group is to be an example of what accomplished
southern women look like! You, along with Rita, will attend events where you may do anything from greeting folks at
the door, to modeling, to performing a group song on stage.
You will be a chosen, polished service group
to inspire other women! You will look so forward to our events as they will not only encourage and inspire others, but
will be a personal highlight of your life as well.
Although there will only be 2 to 3 events per
month, there will be some rehearsals and coordination meetings along the way. Some of our events will be during the
day and some in the evening. In fact, for the first few months, there may only be one or two events a month,
until we get our group established. There are some very exciting plans
for us as we mature together!
The audition is private with Rita and will last approximately
20-30 minutes. You will need to sing a verse and chorus of any song you choose, with or without music (but no voices
on the track if you use music.) If you are able to harmonize, Rita would also like to hear some harmony!
You will need to show that you can move to the rhythm of a song (Rita will lead you). If you play an instrument, please
bring it and play just a short piece for Rita. If you play the piano, there is one in the Arts Center. You will
need to stand and speak for one minute (as if speaking to an audience) on any subject you choose. Rita will ask you
three questions about anything, just to see how well you can "think on your feet!" Lastly, Rita would like to know what your
deepest desires are for yourself...what you would like to accomplish...where you want to be and what you want to look
like this time next year! It will be lots of fun! Send us a message in the form below giving Rita three days and
times that you would be available for an audition and she will let you know when to come.
