Wow!...can you believe where our economy is today? Just last week I spoke with a friend who had sent out 600 resumes with no response! I have personally witnessed people with Master's Degrees applying for kitchen positions. It's tough and there are no assurances. But, if you are going to send out a resume and cover letter, it better be one that will get noticed in the first 3 seconds, because that's all you have. Employers have stacks of hundreds of resumes for one position. They look...and toss! Something has to make them just look 3 more seconds...and then...something has to make them want to read.
