Creative Sewing Classes

This class will be so interesting and so much fun! We will not be making clothes from scratch; we will be changing and embellishing garments. Years ago I was invited to sing at a very large wedding. I had found a gorgeous dress at a close-out sale, but the shoulders had faded because it had been hanging on a rack close to a window. I found another dress that had a beautiful bodice, took the bodice off and attached it to the first dress with the gorgeous skirt. No one ever knew, at that wedding of 800 guests, that my beautiful dress cost only a few dollars! What fun I had! Creative sewing can embellish, enhance and individualize!...and, especially in our present economy, it can provide beautiful dresses that might otherwise be out of price range. ~Rita
